Another VSBN challenge layout. Challenge K (Feeling a Little Crabby) was all about trying something again that you hadn't liked before. I chose two things: red embossing powder (still don't like that it makes a huge mess) and the ribbon. I had pulled out the ribbon numerous times to add to a layout, but it never seemed to work. This time, I used it anyway - LOL! I also added hidden journaling per the challenge; the blue circle is only attached to the layout by the brad, so it swings aside to reveal the journaling. The layout pattern is Backstage from Jeanette Lynton's book Magic.

What a marvelous job you have done with the things you don't like. The ribbon looks good with this layout. I especially like the circle with the striped dp.

This l/o would also work great for your July 4th. The star buttons are really cute.

Such a fun page...I've done the hidden circle journaling in the past and it's such a cute way to hide something. Love those star buttons too! Fun page and the photo is adorable!
