The last challenge of the weekend (which I'm just getting to because I'm packing to go camping# was to case a page, tweak it to fit my needs, and include friends. Well there's no friends on the page but the page is cased from a friend and is for that same friend's Circle Journal. I'm ashamed to say that I have no idea how long it's taken me to complete this layout for Chris's Circle Journal #we're talking years here) The theme of her Circle Journal is "Being a Woman" the colors are pink and brown, and the journal is 8 1/2 x 11 landscape# This was a tough topic for me to nail down, completing the page went fast, journaling took some thinking!
We have different digi programs so I don't have all the bells and whistles she has, but I exiperimented with the levels of opacity, the butterflies, and the swirls.

very nice. The flourishes really add a nice flavor to the page

I like how you have the light/dark opposites on the side of the page. Great job. I try not to have my challenges too specific and whether or not you meet the exact requests of the challenge doesn't matter. You completed a page and that matters. And it's beautiful.

It looks like not having the bells and whistles didn't matter, because you were able to create a beautiful page without them! Love the butterflies. TFS.
