Congrats to Tami! Super gallery! I chose Thank You to case. I liked the stark color contrast and thought it would work well for my Father's Day card. Then I changed most everything. I was also inspired by this card I saw a long time ago. I got my stuff out yesterday to make it but then we had storms and the power went out for a really long time. So I had to quick make it this morning.
I pretty much followed the same suit layout on my 6" square card. I used the crochet bg w/ the silver ink on the ivory shimmer paper and made the shirt and pocket handkerchief. The watch was stamped w/ stazon onto white shrink plastic and since it was a large image to start with, it shrank to the perfect size. I found this little watch crystal looking doodad and glued it on top w/ super glue then attached it to a silver die cut round tag. I used a scallop die on both sides of a scrap to get the watch chain then used the silver pen to draw in the links.
The suit was all faux stitched w/ the silver pen and a silver button was added. I added the little verse (it's for my DH) to the side on the pocket.
Thanks so much for looking! Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff

I loved Jim Croce! I was so sad that the world lost a great singer and storyteller! I still like to listen to his music. Your card is wonderful! Love that pocketwatch.
