These are sort of our party pics. It was the nation's birthday party and DGS always thinks "Life is a party"...even at that young an age. I chose to use the challenge's recipe for Red, White and Blueberry pie for my inspiration.
I started by using paper and a flag border from Freedom Aint Free kit by Summer Driggs. The Alpha is the Stars and Stripes by Free Digital Scrapbooking which I outlined and added a bevel to. I did a red stroke outline around each pic and used a flag from Sindiego's Lest We Forget kit with the opacity reduced to use for a journaling block.
My one "go-to" thing I use on almost every page I do is the font Segoe Print. It really reminds me of my own handwriting. TFL!

This is really a great page. Great title and boarder. I really like your journaling on the flags bg. That is cool. I wouldn't use anything that reminding me of my writing-it is not pretty! LOL
