I have been delighted to see all the horse cards in the gallery. I created this card for Mothermark's teapot party. I thought I would play since everybody was making horse card for a girl that had a terrible fall. You can read about it here.....
I didn't read that a flower was required.......You see all the mustangs were in the stable with Ed. There was a terrible shortage of oats and hay, so Ed (who trots with the hots for ol'Ellie mare), gave his to Ellie. He was so hungry later on and all he could find to munch on was skunk cabbage. If you have ever eaten skunk cabbage (don't ask!), you would know it gave Ed a whopping' case of the toots! Hence the stampede at dusk. Wouldn't you know it all those horses trampled all the flowers in the field!!!
I sponged the sky with Ranger Distress Inks and stamped the horses from Inkadinkado and colred them in to create a silhouette. The pine trees are from Art impressions.
Found an old dollar store metal charm and added some rhinestones and tied it on with black twine.
Thanks so looking at my little ol card!
Get well wishes for Jessica! I will be sending this as soon as our postal strike is over...sigh...what ever happened to through sleet, rain...etc.etc.
Thanks for looking!

What fabulous sponging - very dramatic and beautiful. I love that you can just see a tree at the side of the card!
As for no flowers - almost the only rule at the tea-parties is that there really aren't any rules , and if your card doesn't get you in the front door - the back door is always open with a supply of cookies there too.
