Felt good to sit down and calmly stamped a card. I have had one heck of a week let me tell you. As a lot of you know, DD took a tumble off her horse and has been in the ICU. Finally came home yesterday facing a long recovery. She is young and will make it just fine.
In the meantime, DH had the house painted but the color didnÂ’t turn out as expected so we are having it repainted Tuesday. That means this weekend he will be moving everything off the house again. Trust me, there is a lot.
Speaking of moving, DS was in the process of moving to a different apartment so I had that to worry about. Then I went to use my fairly new lap top and it kept giving me this blue screen. Fortunately DS was able to fix it for me. What a Week!
Today was the first day I actually started to feel a little less stress. I actually felt good, must have been seeing DDÂ’s sparkle returning to her eyes. On my last visit to the hospital, I stopped at the Paper Garden and bought myself this new image. I never go there because it is across town so I took advantage of the situation.
Stamped the summer camper image, added lot’s of misc. stamps to complete the scene. Coloring was done with re-inkers except for the sky which was done with prisma pencils and gamsol. Doodled the edges then put my panel on a black AC cs card. Accordion folded a piece of vellum because today we were to use vellum on our cards. I tried the “pleated cs” technique but for the life of me I could not figure that out. I will have to try that another time. Then I added some tiny buttons and twine. Done.
Well, it sure feels good to make a card under normal conditions. Hope you like itÂ…..TFL :0)

This is so cute! I figured you drew it until I started reading. I like all the details. I'm glad you were able to sit down and do something that is " normal " for you. Keeping Jessica and your whole family in prayer. I like all the little details on your card.

Cathy, I'm glad things have settled down a little for youand you could enjoy some time creating your "Mutnik-one-of-a-kind" cards. This, like the rest, is fantastic. Hugs, Sallie

What a cute card, Cathy, and love the camper and all the extra features around the camper - such a fun scene you've created. Glad to hear Jessica is at home and on the road to recovery.

I am so happy to see you were able to stamp, Cathy. I know you have had a terrible time worrying about your daughter. YOur card is so precious and I love the accordian vellum border.
