The challenge from Our Daily Bread Designs this week is to create a ribbon bookmark. These are not difficult to make and really do make great gifts.
I used my set ODBD's Serve the Lord and Spellbinder's Ribbon Tag Trio Three I made a modified version of the Ribbon Bookmark. The ribbon is secured with large brads, and hidden with the DP and background. I made two so I could show both sides at once and it is photographed on our Family Bible from 1897, and I love the texture of this precious book! The history inside is incredible.
Hope you join us this week. Please take a peek here: ODBD's Design Blog on Saturday, June 11, and use the keyword ODBDSLC64 so we can enjoy your creations too! Thanks for looking!

You say simple; I say simply stunning. I love how the texture from your amazing family Bible is reflected in the creatively adapted layer under your little cross. So much inspiration all around us. I love what your eye sees and then I love the way your hands interpret it onto paper and embellish it. What a wonderful gift you have, sister. I just soooooo love lookin'....Hugs~
