This feeble attempt is for a Flourishes challenge to make a card using our flags' colours. We don't celebrate flag day so our Canada day merchandise is not out in the stores yet. We're not really an outwardly patriotic nation either so there aren't many rubber stamps with Canada as the subject. It's not that we aren't deeply patriotic, we're just quietly patriotic. There are some great graphic designs using the maple leaf, unfortunately this card is not one of them.

I love how you showcased the maple leaf with the red and white striped fan. Great job of incorporating the words into the card. I think "Oh Canada" is such a lovely, singable anthem....quite unlike the more difficult "Star Spangled Banner." I love it when the Toronto Blue Jays come to town and I can sing along with the Canadian national anthem, too. A fine job of this card!
