My project today was so very timely as I needed a graduation card for the son of one of my sorority sisters. He graduates next weekend and weÂ’re going to a celebration at their home. Free Spirit Boy was made just for this type of occasion. ItÂ’s full of hip masculine images that fit a variety of occasions.
I began with a card base of kraft that I spritzed with Evergreen and Blue Chalkboard Glimmer Spray to grunge up the background before I stamped the design along the bottom and the sentiment. I cut a circle from green cardstock and attached that to the corner. I die cut a star from a piece of cardboard that I applied paint to before I attached it to the card base. I added a few buttons and a Tim Holtz time piece that goes along with the theme of the card.
{Supplies}

Inks: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Evergreen and Blue Chalkboard Glimmer Spray (Tattered Angels)

Oh Lynn, I just love your focal point. Lots of juicy embellishments and eye candy to ogle over. This is so modern and sophisticated looking. Just love it.
