These are my 8 cards for the April CCC11 Christmas card challenge. I like the way the two blue papers go together. The pinwheel is so easy and now I want to make other pinwheel cards.
I struggled some with the sentiment panel - which colors, which stamp, how to finish the edges. I think I tried three different styles (all hidden in the underneath cards.) The first card I made by embossing the CS base, then decided I liked it better by using the embossed piece as a layer on the blue CS base. You can tell I "plan as I go." :-)
I used the owl punch for the center blue dot - such a versatile punch! And added glossy accents for shine and dimension.

Awesome cards! I really like the sentiment tag. I also plan as I go. I think I start with an idea and by the time I'm finished it's nothing like the original plan.

These are gorgeous!! How did you do the squares? Are all the pieces cut and glued together? These look like a lot of work, but well worth the time and energy. Love these!
