A few weeks ago, I did this post on my blog with a picture tutorial on Magic Cards. My tutorial is taken from a number of sources including the Splitcoast tutorial under Magic Cards. I had to do some major modifications to the tutorial because these cards were to be mass-produced at a church service day for use by a family services agency. I had cardmakers and non-cardmakers and, although the Splitcoast tutorial includes an amazing way of doing this with one sheet of cardstock - I needed something more intuitive for my group.
Here's a small sampling of what my wonderful church group accomplished that day. I also have to credit my husband who spent two full days pre-cutting all of the pieces and he will quite proudly show you his papercuts!

Great cards! The children receiving these will love them! Lots of hard work for you but so worth it to put a smile on a childs face. I had to go check out your blog for details & I must say I love your blog, your style of card making is beautiful!

Wow...just came across this technique...it looks pretty involved. These cards must have taken a long time to assemble! They look great, full of texture and colour.
