For the free for all challenge we are to post what we got for free and mine are the silver shimmer, smooth white (image) and textured white (snow) .
And I’ll share what I got for a bargain too, the snowflake vellum paper was 25 sheets for one dollar, envelope – box of 60 for one dollar, tape and pop ups also dollar store finds, snowflake border punch – new, found at a resale for three dollars, Copics, Martha Stewart border and snowflake punch – coupons, Cuttlebug embossing folder on sale, and I think I found the SU burgundy paper at the resale also. The image – free - design team.
You can honestly say Roxie is a cheap stamper!!!
The vellum paper is attached with both tape and tacky glue and burnished real well by rubbing the bone folder over them, that portion is covered by the snow and the top border with the snowflake.
The snowman is popped up with precut foam rectangles and I cut a rectangle hole in the vellum smaller than the pop up and stuck the pop up over it to help hold the vellum down and ground the snowman to the card base. If you donÂ’t understand this in words a photo is on my blog in this direct link.
Stickles was applied to the snowflake center, hat pom-pom, cheek hearts and snowflakes on the body and the top edge of the snow.
The envelope was stamped with the two snowflakes you see on the image by inking up that portion of the rubber with a marker. I also scored three lines above the snowflakes with the Martha Stewart scor board (oh yeah, I got that half off).
Paper: Stampin Up – burgundy, unknown whites and shimmer, Making Memories vellum
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Stampin Up burgundy marker
Accessories: Stickles, tape, Aleene's tacky glue, Copics, pop ups,Tools: Martha Stewart border punch (scallops) snowflake punch, EK Success snowflake border punch, Sizzix button die for snowflake center, Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder
