I went to Michael's today and used my 40% off coupon to purchase a Martha Stewart Cornflower punch. I couldn't wait to make some flowers with it. So after grocery shopping and a couple loads of laundry I finally got to sit and play. Here is what I came up with.
I punched a bunch of flowers out of embossed cardstock and layered my flowers. I used my decorative postage stamp scissors to cut around several of the flowers to create a smaller size to create the inner flower. The postage scissors were perfect as it created a cut very similar to the original punched petal edge. I had this pice of punched blue cardstock from a tutorial I put on my blog yesterday and decided to create a frame for these flowers. I used a sentiment from Rubbernecker's Garden Phrase set. Happily I was able to use my NEsties in my brand new Grand Calibur that I got at the end of the week.

I DON'T have that punch, but now I want it!! WOWZERS, Kittie! So glad you got to play so creatively. Love, love, love the gorgeous shade of blue and I love how you've used all those MS punches for such lush fullness. What a beautiful framework for such a lovely verse.
