I made this card for today's Spotted Moth inspiration challenge found here.
This is my story!
1. The item at Spotted Moth that I found inspiration in were these funny log pillows found here!
2. Seeing those log pillows made me remember about these goofy log thingies I bought at Walmart months ago just because I thought someday they would come in handy on a card or sumthing. You know what its like....buying stuff just cuz someday you might need it! Snort!
3. When I showed the Photographer (dh) this card he said. What a great log pile, that is cute! Its not a log pile, darn it! Its a log pathway, sidewalk, walk-way! Oh brother......
4. I am giving this to my brother in law for his birthday. Here is the deal. When he makes a comment about the log sidewalk or about the log pile, whatever he says goes! I might have to concede that is a log pile! At least the golden retriever looks like a golden retriever! Doesn't it?
Thanks for looking!

Wow, you can even make a log pile/pathway look cute!! I know some men who are obsessed with log piles (wood stove owners!) and would LOOOOOOOVE this card! Your paper pieced trees are so pretty, this is just one fun, cheerful and creative scene!

terrific card Cindy, I for one love your log pathway, but if there are a few chilly nights before summer, throw a log on the fire and keep the golder retriever pup warm.. Awesome trees, TFS

I think it is your card and if you want it to be a pathway so be it! No matter what it is, I like the card and love those trees and your signature clouds.

It might be a log pathweay, but it reminds me SO much of the low stone fences that are everywhere in SW CT. Many are not cemented, just carefully piled up. Love your card and glad you found a time to use your "loggies"....great find!

Good morning, Cindy,
I am supposed to be cleaning the RV but I just had to sneak a peak here, then I had to see what you are up to.
I think since it is your creation, it must be what you say- I do know the whole thing is cute. The trees are adorable, and anyone will fall in love with the cute golden!

Cindy, I am no expert on log thingies but I think it could go either way - pile or walkway. Whatever it is, it is cute, cute, cute. What a fun birthday card for your BIL!

Your cards are sooooo creative. You remind of the people in the commercial (for what, I don't know) that says "inspiration can come from anywhere" and it shows a lady creating some mechanical device after seeing children filling a balloon with water. Those logs would have never turned into a gorgeous card with that adorable dog and those beautiful trees if left to my hands. And a balloon filled with water would have only led to mischief!!
