What a great challenge to use music on our cards. I love making music cards. I printed this hymn on cardstock and I (marker-spray-smashed) it with browns, pinks and orange markers. I ran it through my cuttlebug using my swirls embossing folder. I added lace and I paired it with papers from the DCWV Mariposa stack. The butterfly on the belly band and the butterfly on the inside fold were stamped and watercolored using the Mark's Finest Papers set called Daffodil and Anise. Then sentiments on the inside are from another Mark's Finest Papers set called Nature's Postage. If you would like to learn how to make this 6 fold card check out the Technique Lovers challenge May 30th. I will post a tutorial then.

Gorgeous, MariLynn! I love the Mariposa DP -- I hated to cut into it! The bright color of the band contrasts so nicely against the soft colors of your embossed piece. Beautiful job!

What a beautiful card, MariLynn, filled with gorgoeus details. The shimmer of the gold embossing really catches the eye...and then it goes to your fabulous butterfly.
