The central theme for the Dirty Dozen challenges this month is: What a Wonderful World.
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom, for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world...
My roses aren't red, but roses just the same and I suppose all colors make a wonderful world.
This is my third week being the May Guest Designer at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. This week the challenge given by Tammy Hershberger is inspiration from this photo of the paper flower topiary by Julia Sandvoss, found here. http://thecraftmom.blogspot.com/2010...r-topiary.html
I used an image from Flourishes called DIY Topiary Stamp Set. I stamped the pot, then the shrub-like topiary, and another topiary stamp from the set for the roses. I cut out each rose, glittered and attached to the shrub topiary. I placed the topiary against a brick wall and did some sponging. The purple tulle and a button finished it off.
Ink: Memento Dandelion, Potter's Clay, Tuxedo Black, and Pear Tart, VersaMagic Spring Pansy
Accessories: Spellbinders lattice rectangle die, Cuttlebug, button and tulle from Jo Ann Stores, copics, Tim Holtz bricked embossing folder, Sakura glitter pen, Copics
