This is my design team card for this week's challenge over at Happileigh Scrappin'. This week's challenge is to use stitching - real or faux.
For this card I used a paper piercing template and then hand stitched with embroidery floss the scroll work at the top and bottom of the card. I cut out four of the daisies from the Daisy Border stamp after coloring them with Copics and glued 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom on top of each other in the center of the stitched scroll.
I colored with Copics and cut out the center of the Window Box, fussy cutting around some of the flowers. Then I colored with Copics and fussy cut out the Stop and Sniff kitty with flowers and placed him in the window with a piece of Summer Sun cardstock behind him and popped up some of the flowers with dimensionals. The butterfly I printed, colored and cut out twice, then glued them on top of each other using dimensionals to pop up the wing on the top one.

Another great card Sue! Your coloring and shading really give the images dimension, and like I said Saturday, I LOVE the embroidery. As always, your attention to detail makes your cards unparalleled!
