This is my second card for this week's Free For All Challenge F4A64 Say What? At church this morning I found out that our Bible Study leader and wife are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this coming Thursday - so I just had to rush home and make a quick anniversary card for them. Well maybe not a quick one - but only because it took me forever to decide how to make it - LOL.
The background white card stock and the white panel were both ran through an embossing folder. The largest through a lacey pattern, and the smaller through a music sheet panel. The DP has shiny gold mingled through the design, and behind the sentiment is a VERY shiny gold mirror finish paper stock. It is so shiny that you can only get a slight idea behind the ribbon because the ribbon blocks out the light from the scanner. The remainder looks black only because it has reflected back the light of the scanner so it distorts the true shine. In person it really looks pretty.
The sentiment is computer generated and popped up. The ribbon is a very light beige with a gold shimmer throughout. I am really happy with how it turned out, and I sure hope it brings joy to Janis and Willis. They are such a blessing in all our lives at church and I wanted to make something special.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
