This is today's sketch challenge layout. I need a graduation card for my nephew, and his school colors are navy and gold. I thought yoyo yellow was close enough since I don't have any gold paper. I made my own DP with stripes and dots from Background Basics-nothing wrong with that-just a little extra work! I stamped the mouse in black and colored him in with ink pads and a blender pen, then I sponged the edges. The main image is popped up. I used the scallop border punch and a button with ribbon. I was all set to use grossgrain navy and yellow ribbon, but I changed my mind and used a thin strip of navy paper instead. I had fun creating this card and I hope you like it as much as I do! I love how how you took an 'old set' and made it bright and fresh! (and with my favorite color combo too!)
