Joanne chose a lovely spring color palette today in Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Certainly Celery. I started out to CASE Kittie747's beautiful wreath card: Wreath for Spring by kittie747 at Splitcoaststampers
but forced myself to use it more as inspiration than to copy. My mom's birthday is this weekend, and we always buy and plant her annual garden and window boxes. (Isn't it sweet of her to have a birthday with super-easy presents?) So this card is for her based on our tradition.
Fashioned a window box from saffron with my Scor-Pal, then cut some kraft "soil" for inside. Free handed some brackets from kraft (you can't see them, but I know that they are there holding things in place). Scored some siding on a vanilla card and lightly sponged beneath score lines for shadow effect. Punched and punched MS branch & leafy vine in celery and the flowers in blush, added bling centers. Mounted all on the card using adhesive runner and lots of glue dots. Stamped the Verve sentiment on celery, punched out with a Fiskars oval and done. PT - 49. (Please count them Pamzi!)
Thank you so much for looking and have a peaceful day.

I love the beautiful cascade of flowers, this makes me want to get a window box and fill it up just like this. SO pretty and cheery!! It looks like it was a lot of work with all of those flowers, but it was well worth it for this lovely result!

Fabulous window box!! That is a LOT of punching!! Your hands must be sore after all that, but it was worth it. Great card.
