I think this is the first time I've created a TALL card. Colored all images with Copics; Stamped BG with Itty Bitty BG using Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink... Sentiment was computer generated and cut using Word Window Punch;
After spending 2 complete days working in my yard and garden, I came in so sore and tired I could barely move... After getting a bath, I sat down to check emails and there was a message from Cindy informing us that the theme for this week's Teapot Party would be gardens... how appropriate!!! I have a raised bed garden filled with spinach, lettuces, onions, radishes, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash & zucchini (I love to make Zucchini Bread with my Granddaughters). I also planted for the first time this year some bush beans and they have sprouted and are growing quite fast. I am so happy with my garden bed that I am preparing to build another... I have the materials and plan to build tomorrow. I have my own workshop and lots of tools and have fun doing what, mostly, men do! I also am trying for the first time some raspberries... I've started those in pots on my deck and probably will transfer to the new bed later - provided Simon The Squirrel doesn't get to them...
Now the reason for the different images on my card... The garden tools are obvious to any gardener; I also love flowers and they surround my home and also are on my deck. Hence, the darling flower image that our own Leigh Grady provided this week; Bunnies love my garden, especially lettuce but they are not yet a problem; Now Simon the Squirrel... He is a TOTAL PEST! He constantly digs up plants and flowers and I know every time I plant something new he's up in a tree just smirking and waiting for me to go inside so he can destroy my work... I've come to accept that he's not going away so I just patiently continue to replant any damaged veggies or flowers...
