This is for a new challenge my oldest daughter Crystal started - evidently it works this way: she goes through my favorites folder and picks out a card for us to make for her boyfriend's mother or her best friend's shower, or a friend's birthday. The challenge usually occurs at the last minute and she needs the card in less than 15 minutes, however, she picked out this one two weeks in advance which is a good thing because this card look about 4 hours to make since it was a Gingerbeary8 card:
In fact, I had to get special instructions directly from Carol to make it since I can not punch around the page! I had to cover my mistakes with flowers and pearls and fake it! Carol's card is so pretty! While mine doesn't even get close to as pretty as her card, I think that Crystal's boyfriend's mother will absolutely love it. Crystal actually helped me with this one. I wish I could have found a cross like Carol had, but they were all gone at Mike's so I had to improvise and make one using Spellbinder dies.
Thanks for all your help Carol - I have a totally new appreciation for your work. I always knew you put some serious time into your cards, but after trying one, I KNOW how much effort you put into them! Hugz!

What's more? A kazillion or a gazillion? All I know is, girl, you tackled one intricate card from our one-of-a-kind precious Bearzi. My goodness, this is sooo elegant and so full of beautiful details. I'm with you, I'd have to get help from Bearzi too; although, it would take me at least 4 weeks to put this together. It is absolutely AMAZING and I know Carol will be so proud of you. I guess she's your QFTD or FS!! BEAUTIFUL!

LOL - love the story of how this came to be! You CASEd Bearzi and Faith and Jo all in a weekend? GF You deserve a week off! (At least your poor punching hand. Spectacular CASE, I knew which card that Crystal chose right away, one of my all time Bearzi faves - I'm glad that they both helped you with it. Beautiful cross design and I see no mistakes, only sheer beauty. Wonderful card, my friend.

Wow, look at this. Spectacular!!! I am so proud of you and Crystal. It is not so intimidating if you just get in there and start punching!!! lol I think you are so creative replicating the cross with the spellbinders dies. I feel so honored that you have cased one of my cards and absolutely glorified because you did it so beautifully. Your daughter's Mother-In-Law will cherish this for years to come. Thank you so much for honoring me with your kind words of praise and for sharing this magnificent beauty!

Wow, wow, wow, Nancy!! What an amazing creation. I respect your boldness and bravery for not only attempting to CASE one of Bearzi's remarkable creations, but totally SCORING with it. WOW! If I hadn't known that this creation was yours (I mean, really, how could I not with your lovely avatar posted right there next to it), I would have sworn that Carol had made it. How sweet of Carol to coach you with it. She's a soft-hearted bear, that one!! Sounds like you are having "fun" with your daughter's challenges. So glad she pitched in with this one!!!!
