I decided to do another card for today's SC, this time approaching it from a different angle. I have seen this done and thought it was a neat concept. Instead of using actual paper layers, I used colored inks for the layers and let the interaction of colors show. I inked up my acrylic blocks for the various layers.

Very creative ~ love how the colors interact with one another and the neutral paper just pops! Very pretty! TFS :o)

What a cool idea to use the actual blocks to create a panel of color. I will have to play around with this idea myself. Love those gorgeous little butterflies.

Absolutely fabulous. At first I thought it was stamped (before I read your blurb), but then I thought maybe it was some type of thin material. This is really beautiful.

What a cool result you got by stamping the panels instead of using paper! I just used my acrylic block to stamp a panel on one of my cards this weekend because I didn't have a shadow stamp! I like the look you get with it!
