There's a new little girl in town and I just had to make her a card. I used the wonderful sketch challenge this week.
For the top white layer - I dry embossed the frame by hand using a brass stencil with a stylus and another another brass stencil for the debossing of the footprints. The onsie and bib were stamped in white and heat-embossed with white embossing powder and popped up on dimensionals. The safety-pins and bottle were both stamped in pink and a glitter pen was used in select places. The rattle was stamped in a grayish green, colored with pencil and glitter pen was also applied.
The bottom white layers of the focus and the bottom strip were punched with a dotted scallop border punch. The bottom pink strip is stamped with a background stamp in watermark ink and then overstamped with the sentiment in pink which was then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
The buttons are cut out with a die, stamped, then coated with a clear dimensional glue and then threaded with floss. I made a bow with the floss on the scalloped button
Thanks so much for looking! I hope you liked it and that it helps to inspire you to create a card
