This is for the CC321 to use black, cherry cobler, crumb cake and a neutral. I substituted cherry cobler with real red and crumb cake with creamy carame because I don't have those new colors. I wanted to create something that would be striking with the red and black. There seemed to be a kink thrown in with the crumb cake color. I decided to use it as an foliage embellishment for the red flower and the black frond foliage. I couldn't resist adding three little black flowers on the red embossed frame layer to be opposite of the all red flowers. I added a touch of black stickles in each flower center for sparkle but it doesn't show in the photo. Black foliage certainly isn't the norm but I love the contrast between the red, white and black. Oh...and jdmommy....I thought of you while I made this one. The sentiment is from the Rubbernecker set Butterflies Are Free set. I thought the swirls in the font was a perfect match for the swirl in the embossed frame. Check out my paper flower tutorial on my blog if you would like to know how I made my flowers. http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...-tutorial.html

I'm becoming a fan of yours FAST and have a couple of your cards in my fav's already and this one will be added too! I loved your tutorial on making your flowers.
Could you do a tutorial sometime on how you make the leaf spray's ... the wreath tutorial on your blog doesn't give the look that your card here does ... I've tried doing one and it turned out 'ok' but certainly not as nice as the leaf arrangement you have here.
Thanks so much for sharing and for making tutorials on your blog

Kittie, your card is extraordinary! These exquisite paper bouquet sprays have become a signature for you. No one does like you do! I love how you framed your sentiment with the flowers and deep embossing.
