For the CC321 challenge to use Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler with White or Ivory as Neutrals. I had never used vellum so I wanted to give it a try. I stamped one of the leave shapes from Pick A Petal in Black and embossed it in Clear. Cut the leaves out and then colored them on the back and used my aqua painter to soften the cherry cobbler and pull it out from the center of each petal. Punched all the petals and used a brad to hold them together. The rest of the card is just layers of white, black and cherry cobbler with a tiny amount of crumb cake as the next to last layer. Finished it off with a crumb cake double knot!
I think I got a little carried away with the b/w theme and not enough crumb cake... I do like the result of the vellum flower and hope you can see it's softness in my pic.
Happy Tuesday everyone and TFL! Comments welcomed!!
