There will also be a FUN game so plan not to miss it!.....my cardÂ….
I called this card Fireworks because it made me want to sing that Katie Perry songÂ….baby youÂ’re a firework!....lalalalaaaaalalaÂ…Â…I used the same Rubbernecker Stamp bg from yesterday. I just love it! In fact, I stamped this yesterday after I had inked it up with denim and before cleaning it I versa marked it and stamped it again. Gave me this muted look which I am liking.
After clear eb’ing, I sponged Distress Ink- aged mahogany over top and with more on the edges. Then I sat there trying to figure out what to do next when my sister called me. As I was talking with her, I saw this left over tail for a kite on my table and since it was really windy outside “kite” came into my mind. So I quickly sketched one. Also found this left over fence from a card before and I thought this would be perfect to tie my kite to. So finished talking to my sis and went to creating this little scene. Put my bg on a white AC card.
Knew I needed something behind the fence so I pulled out this RN flower, stamped it three times clear eb after. Then colored it with copics, cup out and popped up the top parts. Put the fencing in front of the flowers. Colored my sketched kite with copics, added the tail and wire and popped it up. Wrapped the wire around the fence, didnÂ’t want it to blow away! hehe
Found this ribbon that matched the colors fairly well so I tied a bow using the easy bow maker and put it on. Well hope you have enjoy some of the soon to be released new image from Rubbernecker Stamps. Tomorrows the BIG day!.......TFL :0)

What a fabulous explosion of summer colour - I like those little flowers growing behind the fence. We found a great field for flying a kite in over the weekend - now we just need a good windy day . Not that our kite is as pretty as yours.

What a creative use of this bg stamp for the fireworks scene, Cathy! You have such a terrific imagination. Now I just wanna go fly a kite; it's sure windy enough here today. Great job with this stamp!
