For today's Inspiration Challenge "Wild Wings" I used the fabulous owl purse in Stef's samples for my inspiration. The bark background was stamped and heat embossed, then distress inks were sponged over to give a textured look. I didn't fill in the age because I'm not sure who it's for yet.....

Thanks for your comment. I used the original SU scallop circle punch. 3 for the body and two which were cut to make the wings, plus a slightly larger nestability circle die for the base. For the eyes I used the 3/4 inch circle punch with one cut in half for the eyelids. the black and white portion of the eyes were punched from the 2 step owl punch. The feet were made using the 3 flower SU punch...I think it was called Spring Bouquet. I free hand cut the beak. the head is the round tab punch, but I rounded the corners a bit. HTH.
