All this sunshine is not to be complained about, but it sure does make it hard to tell if the on-screen colours look right till quite late in the evening! Help - I missed somebody off my birthday list, so this is a belated birthday card. I knew I could work the stamp I wanted to use into the sketch, although I had to change up to a square card .
5 3/4" base. Papers are some old sheet music and an old book. Image is stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks, popped up on foam.
Flowers are cut with the new Spellbinders Rose Creations - the black card centres have white music eyelets, and are also popped up on foam. The red layer and leaves are sponged with the same colours that I used for sponging the papers - Peeled Paint and Fired Brick.
I'll fill in the fields after coffee - I'm out to enjoy a blast of sunshine. I wish I could share it with all of those experiencing rain.

Fabulous Sabrina! I'm loving "Ode to Elizabeth". Love the sheet music and the note brads and that image is just so so cute. Would you believe I don't have any cute music stamps? I'm in the process of checking out House Mouse and after seeing this, Penny Black. Thanks for thinking of me.
Cheers, Elizabeth

Great minds, eh!??? I like how you flipped the sketch and I'm partial to square cards. Maybe I'm square? Anyhow, this is so adorable and your flower embellies are awesome.
