The Timeless Tuesday challenge over at Flourishes is a sketch challenge this week. I am a bad bad bad girl and I tweaked the layout. If the challenge police are around I've had it! Problem was I stamped the map and ship before I put it together and found I needed to change things a bit. I changed the shape to a rectangle from a square was the biggest violation.
So I stamped the map in brown and sponged it with distress inks and distressed the edges. The galleon was coloured with copics and after I uploaded it I added a bit of white glitter on the tops of the waves. The black circle looked too new and defined for the antique map so I put the circle die on black paper and tore around the edge. The nautical knot is tied from gardening twine.
This is for my husband on Father's Day.

WOWZERS... what a fantastic Father's Day card! Amazing coloring and I LOVE your distressed and torn edges! Fabulous job on the Carrick Bend too. Where is the skull under your sentiment from? It's a great touch!
