This card is definitely outside of my norm! However, it was a request for a friend's birthday and I'm thrilled with how it turned out!
Was going for a medievil feel along with the castle (which kind of speaks for itself!) Stamped clouds in Versamark, added ep & heat. I pulled the bottom layer from my stash of alcohol ink bkgrds, punched the corners then ran through the 'Brick' ef (love how this turned out!) Printed the main image (digi image from The Stamping Boutique - note, the castle in the snow globe is all one image), coloured with prismacolour pencils. Used gamsol just on the stand portion.
Cut image out and used distress ink around the edge to cover any white spots. Printed extra copies of the snow globe to use as a mask. First masked the upper portion and the crest so I could add a bit of walnut stain distress ink. Then masked the lower portion, used Versamark ink DTP, added UTEE and heat. Did this 2 more times to create a bubbled look (it looks awesome IRL). Used a Versamark pen to highlight the silver portion of the crest as I was aiming for a metal look. Added ep & heat.
Attached layers then sentiment. tfl
