I just saw a great video on Gina K.'s Stamp TV that showed this technique. I really didn't think I could make it work (Oh, ye of little faith!), but wanted to give it a try. I was so pleased! You start out by stamping the image on the lightest color stamp pad of the colors you're going to use, then randomly dab the brush end of your darker marker(s) over the rubber. Then "huff" (to re-moisten) and stamp. I also cut and embossed with a Nestability Die (Labels 11, I think), and then sponged while it was still in the die, to get that white edge. Fun!
Oh! And my Stamp-A-ma-Jig let me down (first time ever!), and the sentiment wasn't centered in the rectangle! Hence the little squiggles under the words.

Beautiful card you've made! I'll have to check out the video. I really like the nice soft shades of green in your card. Your stamp-a-ma-jig malfunction worked out great as I really like the squiggles under the sentiment. So pretty. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
