These tulips are heading off to Winnipeg, which is where my SIL is from, though she lives in Toronto now. When I saw the challenge I thought I had no stamps - then I saw Lorraine's sweet card and remembered I had that one - and then I remembered these. I always find them hard to use on a card; cut out and in a vase they are much prettier . I'd have liked to use a photo as I have NO shortage of tulip photos, but after cheating with the guitar last week I thought I'd be properly paper-crafty today.
Simple card as it's been a busy day; 5 3/4" white base. I drew a silver line /4" in from all the edges and added silver Stickles along it without being too fussy.
Lacy Square is cute from MME Bloom and Grow, and also has silver Stickles added freely along the lace edge. Vase is punched from some printed origami paper. Tulips and butterfly were coloured with markers, stamped and cut out, then layered up a bit with foam.
I'm afraid every last brownie got eaten up over the weekend so there are none to bring along to the tea-party, but you're all welcome to a slice of the chocolate refrigerator cake that I am going to make tomorrow .

I have this stamp also but never thought of cutting them out and placing them in a vase. Thanks for sharing that idea. Like the red against the kraft color bkgrd. The silver stickles add just the right amount of "pop" to the card.

How wonderful sabrina! I forgot about this set!! The tulips are so bright and Spring-y! I'm hoping my tulips will survive the chipmunks and squirrels this year!!!

I am not familiar with this set - but it is so pretty the way you put the flowers in the vase. And the silvery border is also very lovely. I am waiting for my piece of chocolate refrigerator cake. Oh, wait, maybe the recipe? Anything chocolate is a hit!
This is a lovely card. I love those tulips. Putting them in the asian vase was a great idea. I like the Spellbinders you used and I like how you drew the line in stickles around the whole image. Great card. Sabrina I have a lovely 4 Layer desert in my frig and you are also welcome to come have some and sit down with a cup of tea. I have some awesome cranberry orange that would be perfect with the chocolate desert.
