I stamped several images from Layers of Color for my background with VersaMark to give just a hint of pattern. The sets I used are Nature Walk and Touch of Elegance. I used Our Daily Bread designs Sing to the Lord (for the flowers) colored with Copics and cut out several. I added a torn postcard dp from K&Co, sponging all the edges of all the layers. I stamped the bird from ODBD You Will Find Refuge with Memento, colored lightly with Copics and cut out, and placed him on the branches.
My sister and I love and collect chickadees so I made this for her. I added a shabby bit of wrinkled seam binding, some corcheted lace, Prima flowers, and what once was a pin that I cut the pin off and adhered to the frame, which I have had waiting to be used for some time. It originally came from Clear Dollar Stamps.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a wonderful day! We are having storms here, high winds and I'm afraid we might lose power. I will make comments as I can though!

Oh my word Sistah, this is one of the most beautiful additions to the gallery in a long time! A detailed work of art! Grace, your heart is one every piece of paper you touch, and the feeling shines thru. Beautiful....lymi

This is beautiful. My daughter's nickname was Chickadee when she was little. She too has a collection of chickadees. Your framed Chickadee will certainly make a marvelous addition to your sister's collection.

We might have used the same cake as inspiration, but you did a MUCH better job of isolating a photo of it. : ) Your card is really beautiful. I love your vintage collage main panel and the 2 accent pieces...the nosegay and the framed sentiment.
