Oh I got you with the title didn't I!!! Any Mustang Enthusiast would know what I meant....lol It seems that Saul needs a car and a guitar to make it on his own. I thought Saul should "GO IN STYLE" in this 1965 Ford Mustang. After all, he's going to be a "Star".
Baby you can drive my car
Yes, I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And Maybe I'll love you
Beep, beep'm, beep, beep yeah!
This car was popular the same time as the "Beatles". Even more popular today for those collectors out there. Go to any classic car show and you will see some awesome beauties.
I decided to keep the card monochromatic in shades of white, black, and gray in keeping with the inspiration photo for the teapot. The recipe as follows:
Spellbinders nesties- Beaded Circle and Large Circle
Cuttlebug - Diamond Plate embossing folder, Vintage Corner die cut
Sizzx- Flourish Corner #2 cut on from a cereal box and glittered with Martha Stewart Sterling Silver Glitter
Copics-C01, C03, C05 for shading the Mustang
Accessories-twine, star dust stickles, black ink for sponging on the beaded die cut
Our Destination Station is with Tom this week, so this card will be making it's way to Greeley, Colorado. I have to make another one just like it. It seems my Son who restores Mustang's since he was 15 is just over the moon for this card....lol He is going to compete for prizes and scholarships the end of this month at a Ford and AAA sponsored event and will be de-bugging a 2012 Mustang. I'll make another to give him to wish him luck the morning he leaves.
Thanks for stopping by!
NO PUNCHES-I can't believe it! This card took me 1 hour

It's only the thumb nail photo, but I can tell this is one handsome card just with the 65' Mustang alone!! There's lots of glitter and shine on this baby, so it will really shine for Tom!! I can see Tom with some of the glitter on him too! He's sure to love it!

Oh my! This card rocks! I can so see why you son would have fallen in love with it! Wowza! I am so tickled you are willing to go ahead and send this off to Tom but if your heart tells you, you need to hang on to it for your own loved one, send another from your stash to Tom! He will be thrilled with any Gingerbeary card! I absolutely love this!

wow - I am over the moon about this card too - what a beauty and you did it in only one hour and with no punches? I see some die cuts and they count according to Pamzi. Love the sparkles, the image, the ef, the stitching - all of it. What fun the rope is too - if I would have added that it would have looked crazy but you tied it in perfectly. You sure know how to make a pretty man card!

We don't have Mustangs over here, so although I know the name I didn't make the connection. Fabulous stitching, and I love the embossed footplate behind the car; the twine adds a great masculine touch.
