For some reason, after I made this card I started humming "You are my sunshine". hehe Then I thought to myself, this isn't a sun, it's a "sunflower". Oh well.....my card.....
Joan, I was a little scared when I read the challenge today. In fact I told myself I wasn't going to play. But after I got home and quickly browsed the gallery of wonderfully done cards, I sat down and this is what I came up with. A giant sunflower by accident.
This was in fact a trial one that didn't turn out all that bad. So I used it. I used a MS edge punch, a coluzzle for the circle, paper scraps for the stem and leaves. Sponged on the colors and added the doodles. Put on a white AC card and sponged the edges.
Pretty Quick and Simply. Thanks Joan for making me once again go outside my box of thinking. I learn so much doing these challenges........TFL :0)

WOW- I love this bright fun card! What a fun creative way to use your edge punch! Now I will have that sweet song in my head- I used to sing it to my daughter at bedtime, so it always makes me think of her when she was little.....!

What a gorgeous flower! My late DH used to sing a song to me that went something like this...you are my flower that's blooming on the mountain side so high, you are my flower that's waiting there for me. That's all I can remember and I'm not sure that's exactly what he sang. Thanks so much for the memory!
