SC53 square sketch challenge. My 1st square card, 4 1/4" x 4 1/4". A nice size that does not take extra postage or a large size envelope. Thanks Andrea for the great idea. I also used an older challenge by Beth......TLC40....Faux Silk. The patterned tissue for the faux silk and ribbon were from my coworker, Christine's retirement gift box that she gave me. She always teased me about saving ribbon, etc that I "might" be able to use on a card. The button is from my shopping spree with Leslie. Lots of friendships went into this card. Thank you girlfriends. Canvas, heartfelt flower and sentiment all embossed. Very rich looking IRL. Enjoy.

Honest girls......I did not stamp the heartfelt flower on Canvas. The embossed Canvas BG is on the main B. Burgandy CS. The flower is embossed in gold and outlined in black and then embossed. Nancy

Hahaha, I thought sure you did the kissing technique on the flower; whatever you did, it's gorgeous; I bet you won't be able to part with it....unless it goes back to Christine!

I took a guess that it was the scan and not canvas that has the flower loooking this way, mine have done that but usually before I have them sized.
This is one beautiful card, I love the rich color and the embossing just makes a statement, I love embossing backgrounds. Looks like the beginnings of retirment has done you well, hope to see many more and soon!
