Here's another sample of a card using the nifty wallpaper cutouts I found at JoAnn's in their Dollar section. This particular package contained this elegant sailboat /clipper ship and it was too wonderful to pass up, escpecially for $1!
The card front was dry embossed with the SU texture plate Perfect Petals. After gluing the ship into place, I stamped the waves around the base using a smokey grey ink. This was a totally backward way to do it and it necessitated making a mask to keep the ink off the ship. So much for thinking ahead!
The tag was made by stamping on a thin strip of cs and using a corner punch to notch the end of the tag. Dimensionals were used underneath the tag to create the effect that it was waving in the wind.
Thanks for taking a closer look!
