I just got the embossing Folder Flower Garden that is in the Summer Mini today and had to try it. It seem strange that the pattern ends up on the right side of the card. I thought maybe I had done it wrong till I read the directions and I did it right, that just is where the pattern comes out.
I created my own background with various background stamps and then I sponged crumb cake and pear pizzazz around .....THEN I embossed the stem of flowers. After embossing, I then sponged Chocolate Chip brushing lightly over the embossing to make the embossed flowers "pop out".
This card was a struggle for me though because of the stems being on the right hand side of the card, I just could not get used to that. I guess if I want the stems to be on the right left side of the card, I will have to use the "debossed" side of the cs to achieve that.

This is a beautiful card and the right hand side flower stem is very striking and unexpected. Your distressing gives a lovely romantic, vintage look to the card. Lovely!
Gorgeous card and what a great way to start the CC off with a bang. You met this challenge beautifully! PS, you just convinced me to purchase this embossing folder!!!

Evalou, I had to enlarge this to see what you did, it looked like you embossed on the right. Which of course you did, but I didn't expect that either.
you did a great job with this card. I love the colors and and the way you balanced the stems.

Beautiful card. Love the vintage look to the embossed panel and the multi stamps used to achieve that look. The little vintage label looks perfectly at home on this card--so do the brads and ribbon. So many wonderful details!
Thanks for sharing.

It turned out beautiful. I too thought it was odd being on the right side. You can make it be on the left by sliding your paper over to the right and running it through the BS sideways. Hope that make sense. Your CS will be hanging out the right side of your folder but should still fit through the BS if you turn the folder sideways.
