The WWW man was a callin' me so I used him on this Sympathy card for my Step-Dad who recently lost his sister. She was his last sibling out of at total of 11 - Pop was the baby. He loves western themed things, and actually pretends he loves handmade cards. He oohs and aahs over every card I show him - sweet man.
Roxy, this sketch is so cool! I think it may be one of my all time favorite sketches ever. I popped mine out a bit and moved the panels up a bit (I saw Anne Ryan do that on her MMTPT card this week and I loved it - that girl is a genius ya know).
PT - one punch used 2 times (actually I used several punches but I threw all my punched items away as I didn't think they worked well on this card - that is why there is a strip tag for the sentiment rather than an oval).

Awwww give Pop our condolences. If ever there was an image that might reflect his being alone in the world, it would be a cowboy. Really fabulous guy card, love your colors and the way that you channel Anne.

Nancy, what a super duper card. This is such a great image to use. Your step dad sounds like a very nice guy.

Hi Nancy! I dont have a stepdad, but I am a stepmom, so please know, speaking for myself, that to receive a handmade card from a stepchild is well worth the oooh and ahhh he expresses when you delight him with one of your creations. It makes a huge statement as to your relationship. I wouldnt be surprised if you'll see this very card upright somewhere in his home for the long term. Bless his heart and your's too for having come to love each other in the parent/children dynamic - not always an easy thing to accomplish. Your card is wonderful on several different levels.

My heart is heavy for your step-dad...and to think he is the lone survivor of 10 siblings. Give him a hug for me! Love how you used the sketch. This card is fabulous! Wonderful colours and lovely touch with the musical score behind the image.

Woo Hoo Nancy, you're back with a WWW cowboy. Oh my goodness, your stepfather is going to love this. Everything detail you did is just complete genious. I'm so sorry to hear your s/father has now lost all his siblings. So sad - that's why it's not necessarily great to be the youngest. I really feel for him!!
