My sister offered to teach my DGD, Mady (8 yrs.) how to make a skirt and I did this dps so my DGD would always remember. I commend my sister on her patience(!!) as well as Mady on her hard work and in finishing what she started. She learned many things besides how to use a sewing machine. I may also add some hidden journaling that IÂ’ll put behind the page once I print it out.

I just love all the little sewing notions accents, so cute! My mom used to sew a LOT when I was a kid but I never learned how...I did learn how to cross stitch though. I remember wearing quite a few of my mom's creations when I was in elementary school. I'm sure Mady will LOVE to have this LO when she's older!!

Awesome DPS! Love the blanket stitching all around and the stitching accents along with the sewing notions. The title is great and the skirt is adorable! Great job for both of you! Makes me want to get mine out again and create!
