I saw this card by Linda. I went to her blog and saw her tutorial. It really made me want to try one. I tried to buy crinoline like she has on her blossoms, but my fabric store didn't have any. I did buy 14 cents worth of tulle though. The lady as she was cutting the tulle noticed that the edge was crooked and cut off a strip about 1 1/2 inches wide. She through that in the trash and commenced to cut what I was going to buy. I asked her that since she had thrown it away if I could have it. She looked at me funny but said yes. My kids rolled their eyes and gave me grief about it all the way home. All I could think of was I can make several flowers out of that strip. My flowers differ from Linda's because I didn't have the crinoline so I used what I had. Each of my flowers had a layer of coffee filter, typing paper, tulle, lace, paper towel and white cardstock. I sprayed all of the papers with water and crumpled them up. I know I will be making more of these flowers.
