When I saw Karen Dunbook was this week's Queen I was soooo excited!! I am in awe of Karen's amazing CAS style - every design has that truly special WOW factor.
Karen - I LOVE your design style! As much as I try I've not yet mastered anything close to your beautiful CAS creations.
I decided on this absolutely GORGEOUS card of Karen's: {Freshness of Spring}
Changes were with stampset, Nestie, papers, punches and embossing folder. Kept Karen's fabulous layout.
Further inspiration for this card came from today's Inspiration Challenge website - what a nice surprise to visit this unique on-line store called Ruche. So many fun things and so reasonably priced!! Checked out the jewelry first and right away found this unique ring with a beautiful Rose that reminded me of a couple of SU! Rose stampsets: {Yellow Rose Cab Ring} Thanks Stef!!
The Rose and leaves were stamped, then penciled over to give more depth to the images. This card is going to one of my fellow Punckateer Pals who has a birthday coming up in April - Happy Birthday Quiltzi!!
Thanks everyone for looking!
Thank you Karen for sharing your beautiful art!
Enjoy your weekend,
Hugs,
Audrey

Lovely case of Karen's card Audzi! Love the embossing - lots of depth there, and that flower is so pretty! I totally agree with all your comments about Karen and that cool Ruche site. Hugz!

This is so, so beautiful! I love your EFd BG and the colors are gorgeous!
P.S. The picture of you in the avatar kept reminding me of someone and today I was flipping through the channels and saw Laura Dern (the actress) in a scene on a movie and I knew that was who you reminded me of!!

A beautiful case of a beautiful card. I particularly LOVE the EF you used. The rose is gorgeous; I like how you've presented it in that oval. The banner is brilliant in color and design and the sentiment finishes it off perfectly. I struggle with stamping sentiments in color, but this just goes to show how beautiful it looks.
