If any of us was worried about this challenge when Anne Ryan announced her retirement as moderator, Trish's choice of Karen aka k dunbrook was a balm to our cardmaking souls. Karen shares with us consistently CAS, consistently beautiful and consistently imaginative cards. She notifies us on Sunday morning when an SCS member lists a card as a CAS favourite. She writes kind but succinct comments on our best ideas and efforts. And Karen will always have the distinction of being my first. Karen wrote the very first comment on my very first upload. With a blessing like that, sooner or later I had to get better! It is my honor to be able to CASE one of her cards, and I chose this one: IC272, The Freshness of Spring by k dunbrook at Splitcoaststampers
I used Copics to color hearts from 3 SU sets, masking some, on Flourishes white CS. Ran through a Nestie deckled oval. Punched the MS border and mounted a strip of BG Euphoria. Ran a Flourishes white card through the CB Hearts EF and mounted all on the card. Stamped the sentiment in Riding Hood Red and added the heart buttons with large glue dots. PT - 2
Thanks so much for all of your inspiration, Karen. This card is for you. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

Marie this is just so very sweet with all the infusion of hearts galore. I love that heart embossing folder, it is the perfect start to this card, and then the two little heart brad/charms on side are so darling.
