I had a student who wanted a purse really bad after I had made one for a friend of hers who babysat for me this summer. She wanted Brown and pink and I could not find brown and pink fabric to match the coordinating fabric, so I made if using craft inks and paint prints. It's the middle bar on the handbag. I also stamped the button for the closure with brown staz-on to match and add a little funk!

very cute...are you willing to share the pattern for the purse? My DH got me an embroidery machine for Christmas and I am dying to create something with it....

I would share the pattern, but unfortunately I don't do well with patterns and I just freehand them all. It's a simple rectangle that is sewn up at the sides and handles added. There are pockets inside. If memory serves me right, the beginning dimensions of the rectangle are 11" wide by 36" long. Hope that helps!
