I had to play catch-up from last week before making something with today's sketch. I was trying to find a longer, narrower image, and went with these little quails. With the soft pinks and baby birds I think this counts as a spring card, despite the paper.
A2 base. All paper are Basic Grey Indian Summer. Happy Together quails stamped on watercolour paper with StazOn Timber Brown and then coloured with Antique Linen distress ink, Spiced Marmalade for the beaks and Peeled Paint for the grass. I also used Worn Lipstick for sponging some of the panels. Cuttlebug Vintage Corners with tiny pink and amber gems, and the image panel is popped up on foam. Still trying to think of a suitable sentiment to print and put underneath - some along the lines of We're going on a bear hunt, or the second-last bird making some wisecrack to the last little one.

Oh, Sabrina, this is so cute and made me smile! The image is darn adorable and love your DP! The little birdy looks like he is saying, "Quit tail gating." I love your card.

How about: "Do you think mama really knows where she's going?" I love your sweet quails and pretty papers, Sabrina. I'm glad to see the sun is shining where you are....great photo staging for your card!
