Happy Teapot Tuesday. Here is my card for today's Teapot challenge. Our destination is Brampton, Ontario to Kim - the cousin of fellow SCSer/Teapotter Laurie (Virgo05). Kim was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer which has spread to his bones. He is only 41 years old. For more details - go here
As I work at a Ford dealership (Steve Marshall Ford) as a service advisor and Kim is the Chairman of Local 584 at the Ford Company - I just had to bring Kim a vintage Ford truck. While driving along Route 66 my dh and I stopped at the Hackberry General Store and saw this old pickup truck parked in front of an old garage. I tried to recreate the scene - but omitted all the vintage signs on the garage. I hand drew the garage and sponged in the clouds.
Hugs -- gotta run - going over to see the grandbabies this morning.

You go girl! Love that "hand drawn" garage. It is amazing. Love it, just might have to CASE it. hehe. Your ford truck is also pretty darn good. That coloring job is fantastic! I love this whole scene. Patricia, You Done Good. OTT Wonderful card here. TFS :0)

I can just see this old Ford parked outside the barn!! Great drawing of the barn!! Heat embossing this Ford really gives it a nice dimension, it all adds to the wonderful appeal of this card!!

Cool card - I like your garage. It always fascinates me how buildings differ so much from country to country - you certainly wouldn't see anything with clapboard sides like that here.

So now that we can see how well you can draw we are expecting a whole lot more hand drawn creations from you. The garage is very well drawn and coloured, and the truck completes the perfect scene.
