My SC324 and F4A56 (How Does Your Garden Grow) Faux Mother-of-Pearl technique card. The technique was in this months SU Success Demo magazine. A really easy technique that gives a very pretty background.
Faux Mother-of-Pearl: 3 drops of White Shimmer Paint onto a paper plate. Scrunch up plastic wrap and dab into paint then dab all over a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Glossy or W White CS leaving white spaces. I used Glossy white CS. Let the paint dry completely and then brayer with any color you would like. I brayered with Baja Breeze ink. Be sure and stamp any images with Black Stazon ink. I will be using this technique and card design for my next SU hostess club party. I think the girls will love it. I really, really liked the results and Roxie's choice of the SC design this week was just perfect. Thanks again Roxie.
P.S. I just edited photo for a much better pic and added the SU mini basic pearls. Enjoy..

Your technique turned out beautiful and you chose the perfect image to go with it. I love how you added the real pearls to go with your faux mother-of-pearl. Beautifully framed, too.
