This is for TLC316 to make a trellis. I hate to admit that I didn't really make my trellis by hand but used a trellis type punch instead. I hope it still counts. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use one of the new Rubbernecker Stamps being released tomorrow. It's called Daisy Leaf Corner and it has the floral corners on two sides with a nice space int he center to either stamp an image, sentiment or to die cut out a frame. I chose to use an oval die so I could show my trellish behind it.
I stamped the imagewith versa on a piece of 4.25 square watercolor paper and embossed it with gold ep. I stamped it an extra time on scrap watercolor paper so I could cut some of the leaves and flowers out. I painted all the images using a brush, and reinker mixed with water. I cut out several of the flowers and leaves to create an arrangement over the trellis. I punched several leaves and evergreen pieces, marked them up with a versa pen and embossed them with gold embossing powder to match the gold floral images on the main layer. I arranged the leaves, evergreen sprigs and flowers on the trellish and attached them with matte accesnt. I fthought a little gold organdy ribbon heated and curled would be the perfect embellishment for this card.
