Hi! I made this card for today's CAS challenge: out of the box. Somewhere along the line, this card morphed into something I didn't expect! It's not a CAS as I usually do, but since it's taken me half of the day to create, I'll post it anyway!
The part that took so long was the out of the box using a nestability oval. I attempted with other images, but just couldn't make them work. I kept cutting the part of the image I wanted out of the box OFF!! FINALLY, finally, I got the hang of it, and this butterfly is the product of my trialssssss and errorsssssss!
Since the butterfly is heat embossed on white computer paper (I don't have any other colors!) I had to make the background another color. Now this part was really simple and easy. I decided to mix bright green and bright blue alcohol inks on glossy cs and run it through the big shot with a bubble ef. I added rafia and a starfish to the card and it was finally finished.
I apologize that this card isn't exactly CAS! And I hope the CAS police don't come get me! TFL and have a wonderful day!
